Gordon Pembridge is a New Zealand-based artist who has developed a lifelong bond with nature. Gordon often inspired by the connection with Mother Earth for his impressive wooden vessels that incorporate elements of natural history and portray colorful local wildlife. He obtains the majority of his timber from storm-felled trees, and shapes it with a lathe, but the real magic happens when he meticulously hand-carves incredibly detailed wildlife scenes with a high-speed engraver.
